SUPPLEMENTARY REGULATIONS

Merle Morewood Peak Trial organised by Sheffield & Hallamshire Motor Club

THIS IS A NO-STOP TRIAL FOR ALL CLASSES

 

ANNOUNCEMENT The Sheffield and Hallamshire Motor Club will organise a National Sporting Trial held under the National Sporting Code, the standing trials regulations of the Auto-Cycle Union, the Luscombe Suzuki Leeds Sidecar Trials Championship Regulations and any Final Instructions that may be issued.

 

ELIGIBILITY All riders must hold a current ACU registration card or SACU Licence.

ENTRIES To be received by the secretary of the meeting. Closing date Monday 31st October 2011 together with an entry fee of £20 plus 2 SAE

 

CLASSES Solo Expert & Clubmen, Sidecar classes as per championship regulations

 

COURSE The course will consist of an approx 25 mile, single lap course including road work. Punch card change at approx 1/2 distance at the Start/Finish at Lafarge cement works, Hope. Single event RTA insurance will be available at the start.

Note: It is the drivers responsibility to ensure both his/her machine and him/herself are fully legal for this purpose.

 

START The Lafarge Cement car park, Hope, Derbys. Signed off A625 Sheffield/Chapel en le Frith road approx 1 mile N.W. of junction with B6049 (Bradwell). The first rider will start at 8.30am the rest as per championship regulations.

 

SECTIONS

All Sections are on PRIVATE LAND and practising is prohibited. A breach of this regulation renders the entrant or driver liable to disqualification from the event and to be reported to the stewards of the meeting for disciplinary action. The area of the Trial is in the Peak District National Park and it rests with the driver that no cause shall be given for complaint. Where the course is marked with flags, riders must pass within 3 feet of each flag to avoid unauthorised use of footpaths, failure to observe this also renders the driver liable for disqualification.
